Formed in 1990 by DYS/Dag Nasy/ALL frontman Dave Smalley (joined shortly thereafter by continuing collaborator and guitarist Sam Williams III), Down By Law is now three decades into bringing their brand of positive and melodic hardcore to the masses. A defining, flagship band of the 90’s California punk boom, DBL has released over 10 full-length records and toured the world countless times. Their newest release, Lonely Town (Kung Fu Records), finds the band in top form. Delivering, possibly, the most refined and perfected version of Down By Law’s sound, to date.
